OUR STORY
My name is Karrie Koenig (Schasteen), I was born and raised in Templeton/Paso Robles, California. I graduated from Templeton High School in 2010, attended undergraduate at Fresno State where I majored in Political Science and minored in Criminology. I graduated Fresno State in 2013, Summa Cum Laude. I then attended Pepperdine University, School of Law, and graduated in 2017, Cum Laude. I passed the California Bar Exam in 2017 and have been practicing as a Family Law Attorney in San Luis Obispo County ever since. I worked for multiple Family Law Attorneys in the county and could not stand the ridiculous fees they charged. I became an attorney to help people, not bankrupt them. That is why I decided to open Pro-Per Legal, where I represent my clients under a limited scope. Let me help you prepare your legal documents and guide you through your legal matter without the fees.

The limited scope representation is terminated immediately upon completion of the agreed upon service.
FEES: With Pro-Per Legal there is no HUGE retainer, or no hourly fee. We charge a flat fee for each service. The fee ranges depending on the complexity of the service provided. There is no surprise upon completion of the service like there is with retainers or hourly fees. You know what you will pay from the beginning.
